Orders Associates Research Systems was founded in 1994 with a single InterOcean S4 current meter and one product, the WaveWatcher data acquisition system for the Datawell Waverider. Working with these items and constantly reinvesting profits into the company, we have amassed a lease pool of several dozen instruments from manufacturers such as D&A Instruments, Turner Designs, ORE Offshore (EdgeTech), Flotec, InterOcean, Sea-Bird, and RDInstruments. We also have winches, generators, meter wheels, and floatation available. Please follow the Equipment link at the side of this page for a complete listing of all equipment. Well maintained equipment works well. To this end every piece of OARS equipment is tested immediately before it goes into the field and again when it returns. In addition, all equipment is factory serviced at the manufacturer’s recommended interval. |
